We proudly present the first model of a NEOLOG watch - the A-24 II.
The Scopetime GmbH in Hamburg with Designer Arman Emani in charge made it its business to create a new definition of time.
The result is a fascinating wrist watch of timeless elegance. It no longer displays time by digital or analogue means, but by neolog - the method that points the way ahead. Time is shown as what it is - quantity. Freed from all means like hands or numbers, NEOLOG was created - a watch which couldn't be purer and more minimalistic.
The patented display code is a system of ingenious simplicity - universally usable and understandable across all cultural frontiers (bounds, borders ?).
Negative-LC-display, quartz operation, stainless high-grade steel casing and buckle (316L), measure of casing: 34 x 45 x 14 mm, mineral glass, silicon watchstrap, backlight button, 3 ATM water resistant
Try to grasp the number of lines. You will notice that it is difficult to do without actually counting line by line.
However, when arranged into groups, it is easy to perceive a total of ten lines at a glance. NEOLOG is based on dividing time into intelligible units: Hours, units of ten minutes, and units of one minutes which are arranged in vertical bars. Representation of time that can be read and understood more rapidly than is possible with all known arrangements." (European Patent Office International application number PCT/EP00/04548)
